Hong Kong People -- 香港‧時‧地‧人

How old are you? 18
Are you Chinese? Yep, born in Hong Kong
Do you live in HK? Nope, New Zealand atm
Which part of HK you are in? New territories for 3 years when I went to an international school.
Are you a student? If so, what are you studying? I just finished my last year of high school. Applying for a BSc in uni.
Add more if you want. Ok I shall =)
I'll be going back to HK (for the first time in 7 years!) so I'd like some help with places to go and things to look out for.
Ok that sounds really vague, but umm I'll be there for a month and a half, probably living at my Dad's house which he said is near the airport.
As far as I know, the airport is pretty much far away from the good shopping areas and I'll pretty much have to use my octopus card everyday.
And onto the questions:
1] What are some good places for shopping? (other than Mong Kok?) - I'm interested in clothing styles like Comme de Garcons, H.Naoto, Super Lovers, Sexpot Revenge, Vivienne Westwood, Channel - the real thing or a knock-off is fine =P
2] I think I need a new cellphone and mp3 player (leaky drink bottle anyone?) so what's a good mall/shop for electronics?
3] Also are there any free art exhibitions while I'm there? (which is most of Jan and Feb '08)
4] Any good camera or photography shops that sell good (and not too expensive) basic equipment like lenses, tripods, film etc.
5] Anything Japanese, clothing, CDs, DVDs, shoes, magazines.
6] A good hairdresser
7] A new bass guitar (there isn't enough variety to choose from here in NZ)
8] A cellphone number, like a cheap prepay one since I'm not there for too long
9] Any short make-up or hairdressing or intermediate photography courses
10] And finally, a clean and friendly piercing place!
Wow, that's a lot of questions.
Please comment away!
Thanks for the help in advance and if you like, I'll treat you to lunch when I'm in HK!
